Volume II of the book was presented at Skatval school on November 18, 2001. The last (third) volume was presented the same place on November 15, 2002. Volume 1 covers land number 1 - 39, volume 2 covers land number 40 - 58, and volume 3 covers the rest of the farm- and family history of Skatval. Unfortunately the last edition of the book contained so many errors and omissions, that the new book will be replacing it in full regarding the family history part. The information in the old book about land rent and old taxes will be omitted from the new book. On these parts we have to refer to the old books, which unfortunately are not available in the bookstores any more. The books are normally available in the neighbourhood libraries and in the National Library in Oslo. |
